New kinds of narrative emerge from non-fixed perspectives.

As a storyteller,I want to deal in a conceptual currency that can be intensely personal whilst internationally relevant and universally recognised.

I aim to communicate in many different voices, for multiple audiences. As a consequence,my work is often thematic and driven by socio-political concerns.

The overarching thread in my current practice is intrinsically linked to my research about historical and contemporary post-colonialism.

I make work about edges and existences because it is what I know...but I want to have other perspectives and have those challenged at all times.

It is important to remain open to new directions, and be fluid when choosing the appropriate medium in which to make my work.I use time-based media, painting, objects and environments.
